RAINBOW BRIDGE
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Goldens who crossed over... Rainbow Bridge
Rosie crossed the bridge on January 14, 2003. She was approximately 10 years young.
Rosie was a very special lady that will always hold a place in our hearts and will be sadly missed by her family.
I just wanted to say Thank you for bringing Rosie into our lives.
She was extremely special to us not just because she only had a short time to live but because she
touched us so deeply right from the start.
I am very greatful for GRAPE and all you've done for my family and Rosie. You were always there
for us and I thank you for that.
We will miss Rosie terribly and I don't think we'll ever get over it. But knowing that she is with
my first dog or as I called him my second son, Buddy, makes me feel better. She didn't have to suffer
and because of you she had a wonderful year with a family who loved her and will continue to love her
for eternity. I just hope when I go like that! Rosie and Buddy will be waiting for me with those big
smiles on their faces and lots of doggie kisses.
Again,Thank you for all you've done my Rosie. I know she'd thank you herself if she could. And
please remember if you ever get another golden that is as special in need and attitude as Rosie
I would be honored to foster him/her until it is their time.
Take care and Thank you.
